Go big or go home! They went big with this 10-metre long tiled artwork as the face of this ornate bar at "Dom's Cocktail Bar within Penrith Panthers". We were so proud to be part of such a decadent and cheeky refurbishment of their Cocktail Lounge in 2014.
“ It's such an amazing feeling seeing my art super-sized and creating an opulent yet cheeky atmosphere in this one of a kind Cocktail Bar”
Tell me, who would create a super-sized birdcage as the performance stage or would you expect to see lingerie dressed mannequins behind glass in the men’s toilets, in front of the urinals to be specific? No, of course not, but the highly creative Richie Stevens would, from Inside Out Designs.
In total four humongous Loviz art tile installations were erected, three are of lusciously emotive Loviz women illuminated under softly lit arches, and as mentioned the other reached a whopping 10 metres in length and forms the face of the bar itself. This bar makes you want to dress up but also kick up your heels and 100% let your hair down
Dom’s Cocktail Lounge Bar was inspired by American Johnny Torrino, who headed the Italian Mafia and named Al Capone as his understudy. In 1922, when America was in the midst of prohibition, Torrino was recognised as the man who kept Chicago dancing, drinking and sinning as he operated the city’s distilleries, speakeasies and gambling houses
The pics below tell the story the best.
Offering classic cocktails with a twist and a multitude of entertainment, it's worth a visit at least once in your life.
