Painting isn’t just what I do — it’s where life makes sense to me. Through paint, texture, and a playful trust in the process, I find clarity, connection, and meaning — always with a cheeky edge.

With a name like Loviz (love-is), love was always going to lead the way. Love, to me, isn’t just sweet or sentimental. It’s bold, curious, and finds beauty in the overlooked, the naughty, and the discarded. That philosophy shapes every artwork I create.

Over the past 30+ years, I’ve created more than 1,800 artworks, held 50+ solo exhibitions, and run my own gallery for nearly two decades. My work is known for its richly layered, highly textured surfaces, often incorporating reclaimed and repurposed materials — turning everyday waste into wonder.

Based in the Hunter Valley, my practice continues to evolve. In 2026, I’m deepening my Earthful direction — exploring how art, place, and sustainability can live together in playful and meaningful ways.

And yes — I kiss every artwork goodbye. That painted kiss has become my signature, a final gesture of love before each piece heads out into the world.
